I said I'd never do this, which just goes to show what a pushover I am -- it's all Jess's fault for ignoring my rants about LJs and sending me an invitation to join and then ducking for cover. Sigh. Seemed stupid and pigheaded to refuse to be dragged (even if with some proforma kicking and screaming) into the modern era. Everyone I know seems to be here already (no, I'm not a trend-setter -- what was your first clue? ), and I do like to hang out with my friends. So, for better or worse, here I am.

Don't worry about learning how to handle everything at once. I got a journal to be able to post in sentinel_thurs and otherwise didn't post in my own LJ for over a year. I only started using icons about... three months ago? *g*

Give yourself some time and you'll figure things out as you need them. So long as you can post and comment and figure out how to friend/join comms, you've got all the basics you need to get started. Have fun. :-)

Thanks Carodee! I have to say that I am glad to now be able to be up to date on what's going on on Thursdays, lol! Some really great fic in there.
