LMFA Nominations

ariannaI received my nominations a few days ago and had the delightful, but also difficult task of paring down to the ten allowed on the ballot. I'm so grateful to everyone who liked my stuff well enough to remember it and to take the time to nominate it! What About Now, the SG-22 series and the On Ice series, and It's About Friendship received various nominations on the gen side, and Half Heaven, Half Heartbreak, Love's Forbearance, and The Silent Key received noms on the slash side. The nominations mean as much to me as actually winning an award, because the noms let me know that people are enjoying the stories, and that's what matters most to me. Given the extraordinary talent in this fandom, and the rich variety of stories that I saw nominated on the initial lists, it's a privilege to be counted in such company. I was really delighted to also receive a nomination for Outstanding Slash Author. LOL, given the terrific slash authors in this fandom, I certainly don't expect to win such an honour, but it's so neat to just be on the ballot!
