Is anyone else watching this series? It's in its second or third season, a joint Canadian/US production, filmed in Toronto with, I think, Canadian actors but I can't swear to that.

My God, I think it may be the best thing I've seen in ... I really don't know how long. Ensemble drama, wonderful characters, breathtaking suspence, people who will die to do what's right. I'm gonna have to order the previous seasons. I heard they're afraid the US money will pull out along with American viewers and they aren't sure if the show could continue if that happens. I don't know if the show is even on anyone's radar screen but, please, watch it. I promise you won't be disappointed. And then when you discover you love it, too, spread the word.

In the meantime, does anyone know if there's any fic for this show?

I love Flashpoint SO MUCH, omg. Came for Hugh, stayed for the team. There's not a ton of fic but you could change all that. *bats eyes enticingly*

LOL, should have known you'd be aware of this show! Man, I can't believe I've been missing it for so long. Just ordered the previous three seasons. I found about six hundred stories on ff.net but haven't had time to do more than scan the first page -- and what I saw looked like Jules and Sam fic, probably the least interesting relationship to me on the show. Too predictable and ordinary. I love the two leaders and Spike, is it, the bomb guy? The new member is interesting, too.

I have to finish some Hardcastle and McCormick fic before I can get into anything else, and not sure I know these characters well enough yet to write them, but I'm getting there. I really love the psychological drama on this show, the integrity of the characters, their courage and commitment. Lots to work with here. ::grins::

So, you doing okay? My new email is haymarilyn7 at gmail.com Write me and I'll send back my new phone number here in Waterloo, Ontario. ::hugs::

I love Flashpoint. I've been watching since the first show. It's a keeper, that's for sure. I adore all of the characters.

I like Flashpoint. I don't always remember to catch t, but when I see it I like it.

Bonus Garett connection! Enrico Colantonio was a regular on Frasier as Bulldog. He ws hilarious as a sexist sports announcer.

I would never have realized the same man had played such wildly disparate characters! LOL, not sure I wanted to know that -- I couldn't stand Bulldog.

Oh, me too! He drove me nuts on Frasier. He must be a good actor, to have so completely driven Bulldog out of my brain.

I love 'Flashpoint' though I missed most of the previous season, and have missed a few eps this summer. Love actors Huge and Enrico on the show. I think its in 3rd season, but NBC has aired it on such a strange schedule compared to production I can't be sure. Unfortunately, they don't put the episodes on comcast on-demand, I wish they did. I'm not at all into the Jules, Sam thing. In fact, Sam is my least favorite character.

I've liked several of the Canadian shows that popped up here--the pacing and sensibilities are just a bit different and I like it. I truly enjoyed the Listener, NBC ran season 1 one summer, so of course it got pulled with the last 4 episodes shown online only. That was back when i couldn't watch online video.

I've just ordered the first three seasons of Flashpoint, and the Listener is in its second season now so maybe you'll get to see more of it.
