ariannaThis is our Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, and I'm preparing dinner for about twenty family members: parents, siblings, nieces and nephews -- I'm so thankful to finally be back in Ontario, back home, and to finally be healthy enough again to make this dinner (the first meal for more than three people that I've made in about eight years).
I'm also thankful for all my wonderful friends. Today would have been Bee's birthday, known to some as slipperieslope. I miss her, just as I miss other dear friends who have died over the past forty years. But I'm grateful for all the amazing friends who are still here and who fill my life with such gladness, making me rich beyond imagining.
